2009 is a very special anniversary year for Christopher Herrick.
It is 25 years since his first CD recording for Hyperion
'Organ Fireworks from Westminster Abbey'.
It is also 40 years since Vista issued his first ever commercial disc,
'Organ Music from St Paul's Cathedral'.
By the middle of 2009 he will have recorded 40 solo discs for Hyperion,
the Organ Fireworks and Organ Dreams series,
Buxtehude, Daquin, Sweelinck, Rheinberger
and the complete organ works of Bach.

Since 1984, English concert organist Christopher Herrick has devoted himself entirely to performance in recital, recording, and broadcasting. He performs regularly both as a soloist and with orchestras to enthusiastic audiences and critical acclaim throughout the world. Concert tours frequently take him to continental Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. He is known for his all-encompassing repertoire, scrupulous musicianship, and quick rapport with audiences everywhere.
His nearly 40 recordings for Hyperion have become a benchmark and include the complete works of Bach on Swiss Metzler organs and the Organ Fireworks series recorded on the grandest organs the world has to offer. Tracks from these CDs can be listened to on this site in RealAudio and MP3 formats.
